What if spring is late?
Do the main pruning before bud break; in prolonged cold, push it back. Planting with container-grown roses can be done any time in frost-free weather.
When should I move my potted, overwintered roses back outside?
Gradually, once the risk of frost has passed; start in partial shade, then move into full sun – spring unpacking.
