Origin and breeding
Bred by Samuel Darragh McGredy IV in Ireland in 1961 from ‘Ma Perkins’ × ‘Grand Gala’, introduced after 1961 by Samuel McGredy & Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland); selected for bedding use and reliable garden performance.
