Origin and breeding
Bred by Takunori Kimura, Japan, 2012. Parentage unknown. Breeding company Kimura Planning Co Ltd, initially distributed by Rosa Orientis. Introduced after 2017, Japanese variety protection registered 2017, number 26128.
Awards and recognitions
Highly decorated in Gifu Rose Trials 2016: Japan Rose Society President’s Prize, Gold Medal, multiple Certificates of Merit, and Gifu Prefecture Governor’s Prize, plus RNRS Certificate of Commendation or Merit.
Growth and structure
Bushy shrub rose, 100–160 cm high, 80–130 cm spread, with moderately dense, mid-green, slightly glossy foliage and moderate prickliness. Forms a balanced framework suitable for specimens, beds and low screens.
