Bred by Reimer Kordes, W. Kordes’ Söhne, Germany, from (‘Our Princess’ × ‘Rudolph Timm’) × ‘Ama’; introduced 1959 by W. Kordes’ Söhne, unregistered variety in official registers.

Growth and structure
Compact, bushy, upright shrub reaching about 60–80 cm high and 50–70 cm wide, with dense, glossy dark green foliage and moderate prickliness; ideal for bedding, borders and smaller hedging rows.
Flower morphology
Semi-double, cup-shaped, medium-sized blooms (approx. 4–7 cm) borne in clusters; 13–25 petals per flower, remontant habit with an abundant second flush if regularly deadheaded and adequately fed.
