Origin and breeding
Bred by Mathias Leenders in the Netherlands, 1919, from ‘Orléans Rose’ × Rosa foetida bicolor. First distributed by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in Australia in 1922 and now grown worldwide as a classic garden rose.
