SORBET PINK™ is a polyantha bedding rose from the Bedding rose collection, commercial type polyantha bedding rose, bred by Molnár Éva Anna and marketed by PharmaRosa® as a bush rose for garden use.
Origin and breeding
Bred in Hungary in 2008, with parentage unknown; introduced and distributed by PharmaRosa® Ltd. Exact registration and introduction years are not documented, but the cultivar is established in Central European gardens.
Growth and structure
Bushy, compact shrub reaching about 60–80 cm in height and 40–60 cm spread. Foliage is dense, mid-green and slightly glossy, with moderate prickliness, forming a full, low mound suitable for edging and bedding schemes.
Flower morphology
Small, double, pompon-like blooms (0.5–1.5 in) carried in clusters on branching stems. Petal count roughly 26–39 gives a ball-shaped, rounded flower that holds its form well in the border and suits mass planting.
Colour and phenology
