Growth and structure
Upright shrub reaching about 100–140 cm in height, spreading 60–85 cm. Moderately dense, matte, light green foliage (RHS 143C). Moderately thorny stems, suitable for beds, groups or specimen use.
Flower morphology
Medium-sized, very double, cup-shaped blooms with over 40 petals. Flowers are borne in clusters of 3–7 per stem, providing a full, traditional rose effect in flower beds and borders.
Colour and phenology
Velvety deep-pink buds open carmine-pink, inner sides paler. Full bloom intense fuchsia with golden-yellow stamens, then fading towards pale rose-quartz tones as the flower ages, colour retention medium.
