APACHE ® is a groundcover shrub rose, registered as KORcatemp. It belongs to the ground cover commercial group and is marketed as a red groundcover park and landscape rose for general garden use.
Origin and breeding
Bred by Tim-Hermann Kordes at W. Kordes’ Söhne, Germany, with breeding completed around 2000 and market introduction in 2009. Exact parentage is unknown, but selection focused on health and landscape performance.

Holder of several international trial honours, including Baden-Baden Goldene Rose gold medal, Australian bronze medal and Irwin Award for disease resistance, plus a journalists’ special prize in Monza, confirming strong garden reliability.
Growth and structure
