Origin and breeding
Bred by Márk Gergely in Hungary in 1988 from cross ‘Zsófi’ × ‘Minililla’. Introduced and distributed by PharmaRosa Ltd., own-root production to ensure varietal authenticity and stable growth habit.
Growth and structure
Low, spreading shrub about 40–50 cm high and 50–70 cm wide with moderately dense, medium green, slightly glossy foliage and moderate prickliness, forming tidy, ground-cover-like bedding cushions.
Flower morphology
Single, cup-shaped, flat-opening blooms with 5–12 petals, small size (0.5–1.5 in), borne in large clusters. Remontant habit with an abundant second flush, giving good continuity of flowering in season.
