Floribunda bed rose from the Eleganza® collection, registered as KORaplicam and marketed as FEURIO ®. Belongs to the flowerbed floribunda group, suitable for exhibition as a tea hybrid-style cut flower.
Origin and breeding
Bred by Thomas Pröll at W. Kordes’ Söhne in Germany, breeding completed in 2006. Introduced to the market in 2018, with registration in 2016. Parentage is not disclosed by the breeder.
Awards and recognitions
Holds the ADR quality mark (2016) and multiple show honours: Golden Rose at Kortrijk (2015, 2017), Silver Medal at Le Roeulx (2016), and second prize at the Baden-Baden International Rose Competition (2017).
Growth and structure
Upright, bushy shrub reaching about 85–115 cm in height with a 50–75 cm spread. Dense, glossy, dark green foliage and moderate prickliness create a substantial, well-furnished bush suitable for beds and low hedging.
Flower morphology
Medium-sized, double, cup-shaped blooms with 26–39 petals, produced in clusters. Remontant flowering pattern gives good repeat flushes through the season, including an abundant second wave of blooms after the main early-summer display.

Closed buds are deep orange-red, opening to vibrant orange-red with lighter bases. Flowers may show salmon and pink tones as they age, with very good colour retention; in strong sun they lighten gently to a warm pinkish cast.

Fragrance is mild and restrained, with a refreshing, lively character rather than a heavy perfume. Primarily grown for its strong visual effect and floribunda-style flowering, with scent present but not dominant in the garden.

Hip formation is minimal because of the double, high-petal-count blooms and standard pruning. Occasionally small hips around 9–14 mm across may appear but they are not a notable ornamental feature of this cultivar.

Demonstrates very good resistance to powdery mildew, black spot and rust under normal garden conditions. Winter hardy to approximately −21 to −18 °C (USDA zone 6b, RHS H7), performing well in most Irish regions with basic care.

Prefers a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil and regular watering in dry spells. Recommended spacings: 40 cm for mass plantings, 35 cm for low hedging, around 65 cm as a specimen. Suited to borders, cut flowers and feature plantings.
