Floribunda shrub rose from the Cityflor collection; registered as TANotax and marketed as Footloose™ Cityflor®, an exhibition floribunda and floribunda bedding rose for garden use.
Origin and breeding
Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (Rosen Tantau, Germany) from an unnamed seedling × Rosali 83®, bred 1990, registered 1999 and introduced after 1999 following broader European testing.
Growth and structure
Medium-height, spreading shrub 70–110 cm high and 60–100 cm wide, with dense, glossy dark-green foliage and moderate thorns, forming a low, bushy, groundcover-style floribunda.
Flower morphology
Semi-double, flat, cluster-flowered blooms of medium size (about 4–7 cm), typically 13–25 petals, produced in large trusses and repeating through the season with abundant second flush.
Colour and phenology
Vibrant deep pink with subtle raspberry-red tones; buds dark magenta-pink with silvery tips, opening to clear fuchsia with paler bases, gradually lightening towards pale pink as blooms age in sun.
