Origin and breeding
Bred by Edward Burton Le Grice in the United Kingdom from ‘Goldilocks’ × ‘Ellinor Le Grice’; introduced by E. B. Le Grice (Roses) Ltd in 1955 as an unregistered, garden-tested floribunda variety.
Growth and structure
Bushy, medium-height shrub reaching about 60–80 cm high and 50–70 cm wide, with moderately dense, glossy dark green foliage and moderate prickliness, suited to beds, borders and low hedging.
