Origin and breeding
Hybrid of ‘World’s Fair’ × ‘Floradora’, bred by Reimer Kordes, W. Kordes’ Söhne, Germany; introduced 1959 in Germany as an unregistered cultivar widely used as a classic red climbing rose.
Awards and recognitions
ADR award in Germany (1960) confirming garden performance; multiple American Rose Society classic shrub rose show awards, including Mid-Michigan and Thumb Rose Society shows in 2000–2001.
