Origin and breeding
Bred in Denmark in 2021 by L. Pernille Olesen and Mogens Nyegaard Olesen, Poulsen Roser A/S. EU CPVR application submitted in 2022 (2022/2169); introduced commercially after 2022.
Growth and structure
Compact, upright dwarf shrub reaching about 45–55 cm in height and 32–38 cm in spread. Medium-density yellowish-green foliage, densely thorny shoots, suitable for edging, beds and containers.
Flower morphology
Medium-sized, double, cupped flowers with approximately 26–39 petals, borne in clusters. Remontant, with abundant main bloom and a second, similarly generous flush later in the season.
Colour and phenology
Base colour vivid mid-orange with a subtle salmon tone. Buds deep orange; freshly opened flowers orange-red edged with lighter warm orange, then a vivid orange, finally softening to peach-tinged orange-cream as they fade.
Fragrance and aroma
Very weakly scented miniature rose with a subtle fragrance that is barely noticeable in normal garden use, chosen more for its colour and habit than for perfume, particularly suitable where scent is not a priority.
