Bred by Alain Meilland, Meilland International, France; breeding year 2002, introduced and registered in 2003, distributed by Meilland Richardier and Meilland International as a landscape shrub rose.
Growth and structure
Spreading, compact shrub 70–95 cm high and 85–115 cm wide, with dense, glossy dark green foliage and moderate prickliness; forms a low, rounded landscape bush with good ground-cover effect in beds.
Flower morphology
Large, very double rosette blooms with 40+ petals, usually borne in clusters; flower diameter in the large range, approximately 7–10 cm, remontant with a generous second flush from midsummer onwards.
Colour and phenology
Pastel pure pink with soft tone and even shade; buds open delicate pale pink, edges lightening; as blooms age they fade to near whitish pink with pearly margins, giving a gentle, nostalgic colour progression.
