Floribunda shrub rose from the Les Provençelles collection. Registered cultivar name MASmibed, marketed as Michelle Bedrossian™ Les Provençelles® MASmibed for beds and small shrub rose plantings.
Origin and breeding
Bred by Dominique Massad, introduced and registered in 2009. Parentage data are unknown; original distribution linked to Novaspina. Selected as a decorative garden floribunda and shrub type.
Growth and structure
Bushy, compact shrub 90–120 cm high and 80–100 cm wide. Moderately thorny shoots with dense, slightly glossy, dark green foliage forming a full, rounded framework suitable for beds, borders and containers.
Flower morphology
Semi-double, cupped flowers with approximately 13–25 petals, borne in clusters. Medium-sized blooms around 4–7 cm across, repeating well with an abundant second flush during the growing season.
Colour and phenology
Peach-pink to coral blooms with mauve-tinted petal edges and yellow stamens. Buds are deep coral-red with golden tones, opening intense salmon-orange pink and gradually fading to pastel pink with a creamy, yellowish centre.
Fragrance and aroma
