Origin and breeding
Bred by Samuel Darragh McGredy IV (McGredy Roses International, New Zealand) from ‘New Year’ × unknown seedling; introduced 1992 in New Zealand and 1995 in the USA after 1985 registration.
Awards and recognitions
Royal National Rose Society Trial Ground Certificate in 1993 and joint winner of the RNRS Breeders Choice award the same year, underlining its garden performance and ornamental value.
