Bred by Georges Delbard, France, 1995; introduced after 1996 by Pépinières & Roseraies Georges Delbard SA. Parentage is not known; developed as a practical groundcover shrub for ornamental plantings.
Growth and structure
Compact, bushy groundcover shrub reaching about 55–95 cm in height with a 40–75 cm spread. Moderately dense, slightly glossy mid-green foliage on moderately thorny shoots, forming a low, rounded, soil-covering mound.
Flower morphology
Semi-double, flat, cluster-flowered blooms, medium sized at 1.5–2.75 inches across. Petal count typically 13–25. Produces repeat flushes with a notably plentiful second flowering period during the main season.
