Origin and breeding
Bred by Reimer Kordes in Germany from ‘Zitronenfalter’ × ‘Cläre Grammerstorf’, introduced and registered in 1966 by W. Kordes’ Söhne, forming part of their classic, proven climbing rose assortment.

Awarded the ADR (Allgemeine Deutsche Rosenneuheitenprüfung) distinction in 1968, indicating strong ornamental value and garden performance under European trial conditions despite its need for regular plant protection.
