This compact, upright hybrid tea forms densely foliated, dark green bushes that carry clusters of richly petalled, raspberry-red rosette blooms with a silky sheen. In a typical Irish front garden it copes well with our damp, variable weather and the challenges of heavy soils, as long as drainage is reasonable. Its remontant nature brings flush after flush of flowers through the season, so a small group of plants already gives a generous display. As an own-root rose it settles in gradually and can be pruned with confidence, regenerating from its base and supporting a long garden lifespan.
