Origin and breeding
Bred by Heinrich Schultheis, Rosen Schultheis (Germany). Parentage is ‘Lichtkönigin Lucia’ crossed with an unknown seedling. Registered in 2005, with breeding work completed in Germany the same year.
Growth and structure
Bushy, upright shrub rose reaching about 110–150 cm high and 100–140 cm wide. Moderately thorny stems carry dense, dark green, glossy foliage, forming a solid, shrub-like presence in beds, borders or informal hedges.
Flower morphology
Semi-double, flat flowers with approximately 13–25 petals, produced in medium-sized clusters. Blooms are recurrent through the season with an abundant second flush, giving steady ornamental impact in typical garden use.
Colour and phenology
Pure yellow blooms: deep lemon-yellow buds open to bright sun-yellow outer petals and golden inner tones, then fade through golden yellow to pale buttery yellow, creating gentle colour variation as each cluster ages.
